Pure citronella oil has long been famous for its powerful mosquito-repellent properties. There are a couple of ways to keep mosquitos and bugs away with this oil. One way is to apply it to your skin after combining a few drops with a carrier oil and distributing it liberally on any exposed areas. You may also dilute the oil with water in a spray bottle or use a diffuser where you don’t want to see any more of those pesky flies.
